Što je Hrvatski nacionalni arhivski katalog?
The Croatian National Archival Catalogue is a comprehensive digital resource that provides access to information about archival material held in the state archives of the Republic of Croatia, as well as in other institutions possessing nationally significant archival records. On the eArhiv portal, users can search more than 20,000 different archival collections and fond, covering the period from the Middle Ages to the present day.
The materials available on the portal include a wide variety of documents and records, such as charters, files, manuscripts, graphics, maps and plans, photographs, film and video footage, music recordings, books, and other types of historical sources. Many of these materials have already been digitized and are available for online viewing. Content not available on the portal can be ordered for further use in archive reading rooms or in digital format using the e-Service.
For registered users, the portal offers additional features, including the e-Services of archival materials, which allows ordering materials from any archive in Croatia without the need for a personal visit. This service is a significant step toward modernizing archival practices and facilitates access to valuable original sources, making them available anytime and anywhere.
eArhiv is not only a tool for searching archival records but also an important platform that connects researchers, historians, students, and all those interested in the cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia with a wealth of documentation and sources that testify to our past and cultural history.
